Mission and Goals

 

Mission

 

The Mission of SAGT is to partner with the Carroll Independent School District (CISD) to promote and encourage advanced academics in the CISD, including the education of gifted and talented students. This corporation is organized exclusively for one or more of the purposes as specified in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Goals  

• To provide to the administration and the school board in designing and implementing programs to meet the needs of students who would benefit from advanced academics and gifted and talented programs
• To promote awareness of and provide information regarding the unique intellectual, social and emotional needs of gifted and talented students
• To serve as an advocate for the parents of Gifted and academically advanced students
